The celebration of the Sankranthi festival reached a crescendo as the students of Vignan School came together and celebrated the festival on the school premises. Our Students had some amazing time filled with festivities and Dressed in ethnic wear, they all came enthusiastically to be part of the Sankranthi celebrations.
The program began with a special assembly, and the primary students explained the significance of the four days, Bhogi, Makara Sankranthi, Kanuma, and Mukkanuma. The harvest festival celebration at Vignan, Madinaguda accompanied students’ songs and dance performances.
The school organized Kite-making activities for the enthusiastic little ones. Various cultural programs depicted the significance of Sankranthi, Gobbiyallu, Basavanna, Haridasu, Muthyala Muggullu, etc.
We added a candy segment to the celebration, a fashion dress competition by our tiny tots. All our students and faculty enjoyed the Sankranti Celebrations enthusiastically.
